What, Why, How: Jeff Vande Zande

April 19, 2015 By Linda K Sienkiewicz

What: Well, as a writer, I work with poetry (rarely anymore), fiction, and screenplays. The screenwriting is the most recent development, and I both enjoy and am frustrated by the collaborative aspects of making short films. As any writer knows, the loneliness and isolation of writing can be difficult. On the other hand, when it comes to writing, you’re the only person you have to … [Read more...]

Are you a Child of the Seventies?

April 17, 2015 By Linda K Sienkiewicz

Crafting paper roses from book pages is surprisingly easy, even if you don't consider yourself artsy. Here's my method of crafting paper roses, adapted from various other tutorials: What you … [Read more...]

What, Why, How: Diana Rubino

April 7, 2015 By Linda K Sienkiewicz

Diana Rubino is here to answer 3 basic questions about creativity for my series titled What, Why, How! WHAT? The one-word description of me is ‘curious.’ I hesitate to say ‘nosy’ but ‘curious’ implies the burning desire to learn, and ask ‘why?’ as often as ‘why not?’ So ‘why not’ dedicate at least half my life to a passion that gives me a chance to make a living at it, writing? Coupled … [Read more...]
