Embrace Your Voice: Buy a Book, Support a Cause

April 18, 2018 By Linda K Sienkiewicz

Embrace your Voice

Embrace Your Voice – April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. I’ll donate $5 to The National Alliance to End Sexual Violence for each sale of my award-winning novel In the Context of Love from my Etsy store HERE during April. I’ll even sign it for you.

Read an uplifting coming-of-age story about a young woman who must rebuild her life after the discovery of a devastating family lie turns her world upside down, and support a great cause! The book was inspired by the real life stories of several women who learned they were conceived when their mothers were raped.

If you enjoy books by Anne Tyler, Nicholas Sparks or Jacqueline Mitchard, you’ll enjoy In the Context of Love.

Journey to truth – Reviews of In the Context of Love

“Maya Angelou says there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. Such a story informs the life of Angelica, the main character in this great read. In today’s charged climate of the ‘Me, too’ women, this novel is really relevant… an important story for our current days of reckoning. For all the women on their journeys to truth, this is a book for you.” ~Barbara Rebbeck, author of NOLA Gals

“Stories of women who have suffered sexual abuse have been at the forefront of media recently. How do we empower these women to find strength within darkness? How do we ensure that they are heard? Those are questions Linda Sienkiewicz has us think about in her debut novel, In the Context of Love.”  ~ Jennifer Bairos, blogger and book reviewer for A Splendid Messy Life

“The relationship between mother and daughter redeems itself, as it often does with time. Angelica learns to love and accept her mother’s situation and begins to help her heal from it. A genuine flawless love and relationship between the two is born and it is one that makes the entire book so worth the read. Yet, it is not the only element of the book that is so well told. Joe and Angelica also have a beautiful love story, one that like the mother/daughter tale is just so beautiful to read.” ~Anthem Book Review

“I couldn’t put it down, couldn’t wait to see how the author would resolve this deep heartache. I was not disappointed. This moving story of fated soul mates and the author’s unique narrative voice make this book one not to be missed.” ~ Cynthia Harrison, author of the Blue Lake series.

So please, buy a copy of In the Context of Love from my Etsy shop and support Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

You will be sent a receipt that shows the $5 donation made in your name.
